Qualcomm has announced the new Snapdragon 850 mobile computing platform meant for Windows 10-based Always Connected PCs at Computex 2018.
Based on 10nm process tech, the new Snapdragon 850 platform supports many sought-after smartphone features in the PC and to stay connected to LTE or Wi-Fi.

The processor supports 30 per cent system-wide increase in performance, and up to 3 times AI performance over the previous generation. Additionally, the Snapdragon 850 Mobile Computing Platform can support on-device experiences for AI, and users can expect camera, voice and battery life enhancements.
Windows 10-based devices powered by the new Snapdragon Mobile 850 Compute Platform are expected to be available in retail later this year.
