Chinese company OnePlus has released its Software Maintenance Schedule which lists the down the number and duration of updates for its smartphone.
OnePlus, in its forum said, “In order to provide our community with best in class software maintenance and upgrade cycle, we are officially announcing OnePlus Software Maintenance Schedule.”
The Software Maintenance Schedule includes two years of regular software updates from the release date of the phone which will include new features, Android versions, Android security patches and bug fixes.
Additionally, the company will release three years of Android security patch updates every two months for the users.
The new Software Maintenance Schedule is applicable on the OnePlus 3, the OnePlus 3T, the OnePlus 5, the OnePlus 5T, and the recent OnePlus 6.
Furthermore, OnePlus will publish the last Open Beta build for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T later this week and will provide a stable version of OnePlus and OnePlus 3T for beta testers, in the beginning of July.
