HMD Global-owned Nokia’s high-end Nokia 8 and mid-range Nokia 5 have received a price cut in India.
The Nokia 8 is now priced at Rs 28,999, coming down from Rs 36,999, while the 3GB RAM variant of the Nokia 5 now comes with a price tag of Rs 12,499 after getting a discount of Rs 1,000.
To recall, the Nokia 8 features a 5.3-inch IPS LCD QHD display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. The smartphone is backed by a 3,090mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 tech and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The camera department, which is the main highlight of the smartphone, features dual cameras at the back, rated at 13-megapixel each with ZEISS optic lens, PDAF, dual-tone LED flash and IR range finder, while the front-facing snapper also stands at 13-megapixel with display flash.
Coming to the Nokia 5, the smartphone sports a 5.2-inch HD IPS display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset. The device comes equipped with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via a memory card. In the camera department, there is a 13-megapixel primary snapper with dual-tone LED flash with an 8-megapixel front camera. The Nokia 5 gets its power from a 3,000mAh battery and runs Android 7.1 Nougat.
