Nokia 1 and Nokia 7 Plus renders leaked online


HMD Global-owned Nokia is all set to unveil new smartphones at its MWC event, and the recent rumour is about the smartphones the company might launch at the upcoming annual tradeshow.

According to a tweet by popular tipster Evan Blass, Nokia is likely to unveil the entry-level Nokia 1 and mid-ranger Nokia 7 Plus, among other smartphones at the event.

Starting with the Nokia 1, according to the images, the smartphone is expected to be an entry-level one coming with a single rear and front cameras. The primary shooter is likely to be accompanied by LED flash. While technical details are unavailable, the Nokia 1 could run Android Go version, come with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage. Additionally, it is expected to come in blue and red colour options.

Coming to the Nokia 7 Plus, the device is speculated to feature dual cameras at the back in collaboration with Carl Zeiss and preferably come with Nokia’s Bothie feature. As per the images, the back is likely house a fingerprint scanner. The Nokia 7 Plus is expected to come with a 6-inch bezel-less display with an aspect ratio rated at 18:9.

In terms of the specs, the Nokia 7 Plus is rumoured to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and run Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.

As the aforementioned information is a rumour, there is no word on its authenticity. To know what Nokia brings on the tables, we need to wait until the MWC event scheduled for February 25. So, stay tuned.
