We have been hearing about the Motorola Moto G series’ next installment- the Moto G6 series for a while. Now, Motorola has confirmed to hold an event where the new much-rumoured Moto G6 series could get launched.
The Motorola event, scheduled for April 19 will take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil for which the company has started sending out press invites.
Even though there is limited information on the Moto G6 series, it is suggested that Motorola is expected to launch the Moto G6, the Moto G6 Plus and the Moto G6 Play in the mid-range Moto G6 series. All the three smartphones are speculated to come with an aspect ratio rated at 18:9 for thin bezels, and come with fingerprint scanners.
Alleged Motorola Moto G6 Specs
The Motorola Moto G6 is likely to come with a 5.7-inch full HD display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, and could come in two RAM/ROM options: 3GB RAM/32GB ROM and 4GB RAM/64GB ROM. The smartphone could come with a rear dual-camera setup (12-megapixel and 5-megapixel) while the front shooter might stand at 16-megapixel. Additionally, the device could be backed by a 3,000mAh battery and run Android 8.0 Oreo.
Alleged Motorola Moto G6 Plus Specs
The Moto G6 Plus could feature a bigger 5.93-inch display, might be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset, and coupled with either 4GB of RAM or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone might come with the same camera configuration as the Moto G6, a bigger 3,200mAh battery and run Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Moto G6 Play is speculated to span 5.7-inch, be powered by Snapdragon 430 processor, and come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The smartphone is likely to house a single 12-megapixel rear shooter, a huge 4,000mAh battery and run Android 8.0 Oreo.
As the aforementioned information is a rumour, we suggest you take them with a grain of salt. To know what Motorola has up its sleeves, we need to wait until the April 19 launch event. So, stay tuned!
