Motorola has brought the recently-launched Moto G6 and the Moto G6 Play to the Indian shores. To recall, the smartphones were launched alongside the Moto G6 Plus which did not make it to India.
Starting with the Moto G6, the smartphone comes with a 5.7-inch Full HD+ Max Vision display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor. With 3D glass back, the device comes in two RAM/ROM options: 3GB RAM/32GB ROM and 4GB RAM/64GB ROM. The camera department has dual cameras (rated at 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel) at the back while the front camera stands at 8-megapixel.
The water resistant smartphone is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and runs Android 8.0 Oreo. Additionally, there is fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button and supports Face Unlock feature.
Moto G6 Play:
Another member of the Moto G6 series is the Moto G6 Play which sports a 5.7-inch HD display with the same aspect ratio as the Moto 6 and is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 SoC. The device comes equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, there is a 13-megapixel primary snapper and a 5-megapixel front camera with front-facing flash. The device is backed by a huge 4,000mAh battery and runs Android 8.0 Oreo. Furthermore, there is a front-facing fingerprint scanner and comes with water repellant coating.
The Motorola Moto G6 is priced at Rs 13,999 (3GB RAM/32GB ROM) and Rs 15,999 (4GB RAM/64GB ROM), while the Moto G6 Play costs Rs 11,999 and will be exclusively available via Amazon India Moto Hub Stores in the country.
