After launching its new smartphone Moto G6 Play a month back, Motorola is now all set to launch another mid-range handset in India, dubbed as Moto E5 Plus.

The phone will be launched on July 10 powered by a large 5,000 mAh battery. The smartphone was already unveiled in April along with the Moto E5 and Moto E5 Play. A teaser posted by Motorola suggests that Moto E5 Plus, the upcoming Motorola’s popular entry-level E-series will be available exclusively through Moto Hub and Amazon.in.

Globally, the phone carries a price tag of 169 euros (approximately Rs 13,000). Nonetheless, the phone is expected to be launched in India at a much lower price tag and would be equipped with easy payment options, discounts and schemes from telecom partners.

The major USP of the phone is its massive 5,000mAh battery that will offer up to 1.5-day backup with a single full charge. The 15W TurboPower charger included in the device has the potential to deliver six hours of back up with 15 minutes of charging.

The Moto E5 Plus would be backed by Qualcomm’s 425 chipset and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. The connectivity options include 3.5mm headphone jack, fingerprint sensor, Moto Actions (gesture-based shortcuts), Bluetooth 4.2 and 4G LTE.

Coming to the optics, the smartphone is speculated to flaunt an 8MP selfie sensor coupled with f2.2, 1.12um and selfie flash/light and a 12MP rear camera with f2.0, 1.25um big pixels, LED flash, PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus), and laser autofocus.
