LG V40 could come with three cameras and 3D facial recognition


LG’s upcoming flagship, purportedly called the LG V40 ThinQ is in the pipeline for which the rumours and leaks have started to build up. The latest leak hints at some of the specifications the flagship could come with.

According to a report by ETNews.com, the alleged LG V40 ThinQ is expected to adopt the triple-camera module for the back which could be rated at 20-megapixel, 16-megapixel and 13-megapixel, with support for Super wide-angle and Super telephoto lenses.

Additionally, the smartphone is likely to support 3D facial recognition with the use of 3D cameras at the front.

The to-be-announced LG V40 ThinQ, which will be in competition with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and the Apple iPhone 9 is expected to sport really thin bezels, translating into a screen-to-body ratio rated at 90 per cent. In addition to this, the display (OLED in nature) is expected to house a notch at the top.

While other details still remain behind the veil, it is suggested that the LG V40 ThinQ could make its entry in early October.
