LG Q8 with stylus and FullVision display unveiled


LG has introduced a new smartphone, known as the LG Q8 in its Q series in South Korea.

The new LG Q8 comes with support for a built-in stylus which allows users to create memos with added features, draw and scribble with several editing features.

The smartphone comes with a 6.2-inch Full HD+ FullView display with an aspect ratio rated at 18:9 which ensures the presence of really thin bezels.

The LG Q8 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 mobile platform, coupled with 4GB of RAM. It comes equipped with 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 2TB with the use of a microSD card.

On the camera front, there is a 16-megapixel primary snapper with PDAF and LED flash, while the one at the front stands at 5-megapixel with 100-degree wide-angle lens. The LG Q8 gets its fuel from a 3,300mAh battery and runs Android 8.1 Oreo.

The LG Q8 comes with several connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Additionally, it supports IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, MIL-STD 810G certification, DTS: X stereo sound technology, Hi-Fi Quad DAC, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and LG Pay.

The LG Q8 is priced at 539,000 won (around Rs 32,900) and will be available in Aurora Black and Moroccan Blue colour variants.
