While LG remained absent at the recently concluded MWC tradeshow, new rumour about the forthcoming LG G7 suggests that the company’s upcoming flagship is soon to make its entry.
According to a new report, LG’s next-gen flagship in its G series, dubbed the G7 is expected to launch in May and is likely to be priced at around $800, which is more than the predecessor- the LG G6.
While there is nothing concrete about the LG G7, the smartphone is expected to sport an iPhone X-like top notch featuring the front camera and earpiece. On the camera front, the smartphone could house AI-based camera features, much like the recently launched LG V30S ThinQ and the V30S+ ThinQ.
Additionally, past rumours hint at a FullVision display with an aspect ratio rated at 19:5:9. The screen size could be rated at 6-inch and come with a screen resolution of 3,120 x 1,440 pixels. The smartphone could be backed by a 3,300mAh battery, run Android 8.0 Oreo and feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The LG G7 is speculated to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, and come in two RAM/ROM variants: 4GB RAM/64GB ROM and 6GB RAM/128GB ROM. On the camera front, the dual-camera setup at the back could be rated at 16-megapixel each, with the front-facing snapper standing at 8-megapixel.
Furthermore, LG’s this year’s flagship in its V series, allegedly called the LG V40 is speculated to launch in November.
Just to clear the mist, these are just rumours with nothing concrete backing them. To know more about LG’s plans, stay tuned!
