Lenovo has announced three new smartphones dubbed the Lenovo Z5, the Lenovo K5 Note and the Lenovo A5 at an event in China.
Lenovo Z5:
Starting with the high-end K5, the smartphone like most smartphones these days has adopted the notch with a bezel-less display as its highlight. The display is rated at 6.2-inch and is Full HD+ in nature with an aspect ratio standing at 19:9.
Another highlight is the camera department which houses dual rear cameras (16-megapixel and 8-megapixel) and an 8-megapixel front camera. The smartphone comes with AI camera capabilities.
The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, comes in two RAM/ROM options- 6GBR AM/64GB ROM and 6GB RAM/128GB ROM, has a 3,300mAh battery and runs Android 8.0 Oreo with ZUI 4.0 on top. The Lenovo Z5 comes in Black, Aurora and Blue colour options and has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Lenovo Z5 is priced at CNY 1,299 (6GB RAM/64GB ROM) and CNY 1,799 (6GB RAM/128GB ROM) and will be available globally, starting June 12.
Lenovo K5 Note:
The smartphone in the mid segment comes with a 6-inch HD+ display, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset and comes in two RAM/ROM variants : 3GB RAM/32GB ROM and 4GB RAM/64GB ROM. The smartphone has dual rear cameras rated at 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel and an 8-megapixel front snapper.
The Lenovo K5 Note is backed by a 3,760mAh battery and runs Android 8.0 Oreo. Additionally, there is a fingerprint sensor at the back. The Lenovo K5 Note comes in Black, Gold and Blue colour options.
The Lenovo K5 Note is priced at CNY 799 (3GB RAM/32GB ROM) and CNY 999 (4GB RAM/64GB ROM) and will also be available globally, starting June 12,
Lenovo A5:
The Lenovo A5 has a 5.45-inch HD+ display, quad-Core MediaTek MT6739 SoC, two RAM/ROM configurations (3GB RAM/16GB ROM and 3GB RAM/32GB ROM), a 4,000mAh battery, and runs Android 8.0 Oreo. On the camera front, there is a 13-megapixel primary shooter and an 8-megapixel front snapper.
Furthermore, the Lenovo A5 has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and comes in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colour variants.
The Lenovo A5 is priced at CNY 599 (3GB RAM/16GB ROM) with no word on the other variant’s price.
