iPhone SE 2 shipment will hit 20 million units in 2020: Ming-Chi Kuo

Apple, iPhone SE

The Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo of TF Securities has predicted that the upcoming iPhone SE 2 will be a hit product for the company and will ship at least 20 million units in 2020 following its launch, as per a report by AppleInsider.

Kuo has predicted that the tentatively-titled ‘iPhone SE 2’ is expected to sell about the same volumes as to the iPhone SE, somewhere between 20 million and 30 million given the popularity of the product. However, these predicted figures will come to be correct only if Apple launches the iPhone SE 2 in the first half of the next year as rumored.

Earlier Kuo also revealed that the price of the upcoming iPhone SE 2 would be around $399, and it will come in variants of 64GB and 128GB with 3GB of RAM. iPhone SE 2 is also rumored to have a design closer to iPhone 8 and will run on the latest A13.

As per the revelations, the company will be targeting iPhone 6 owners with the iPhone SE 2 given the iPhone 6 series has not got iOS 13, and there may be an urgent replacement demand for users who want to upgrade to get the latest iOS 13 features.
