Apart from unveiling the new high-end P20 series, Huawei is also expected to unveil the budget Huawei Y9 soon. The rumours have begun piling up and the latest one tips at the various colour variants the upcoming smartphone might come in.
According to a new report, the purported Huawei Y9 (which recently passed through TENNA and FCC) is likely to come in three colour options, namely, blue, gold and black. Additionally, the smartphone is expected to arrive on March 15 in Thailand.
Even though we lack concrete information, past rumours suggest that the Huawei Y9 is expected to feature a 5.93-inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio rated at 18:9, for minimal bezels. The device could be powered by the company’s octa-core Kirin 659 chipset, coupled with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone might be equipped with 32GB of internal storage coming with the option to expand up to 128GB via a memory card.
In terms of the cameras, the Huawei Y9 could come with four cameras: two at the back rated at 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel and two at the front standing at 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel. The smartphone might be backed by a 4,000mAh battery and run Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on top.
