Huawei Nova 2 Lite with dual rear cameras announced


Huawei has unveiled a new smartphone in its Nova series, the Nova 2 Lite in Philippines. The smartphone comes with a price tag of P9,990 (around Rs 12,500) and is now up for pre-orders.

The main highlight of the smartphone is the camera department which comprises a dual-cmaera setup, rated at 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel and supports Bokeh effect. The front-facing snapper stands at 8-megapixel.

The Huawei Nova 2 Lite comes with a 5.99-inch FullView HD+ display with a screen resolution rated at 1,440 x 720 pixels and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.4GHz. The smartphone comes equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB with the help of a microSD card.

The Huawei Nova 2 Lite gets its fuel from a 3,000mAh battery and runs the company’s EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The smartphone is topped with several connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and a micro USB port.

Additionally, the Huawei Nova 2 Lite is accompanied by a fingerprint scanner at the back and supports facial recognition.

Furthermore, Huawei is offering JBL Bluetooth headphones on pre-ordering the Nova 2 Lite.
