HTC 10 starts getting Android Oreo and Jio VoLTE updates

HTC has started releasing Android Oreo 8.0 and Jio VoLTE update to its flagship device HTC 10 via OTA to bring in more features and compatibility. Initially it was launched on Android Marshmallow (6.0) platform in 2016.

“HTC India has announced Android Oreo software and Jio VoLTE update for HTC 10 flagship smartphone. The software update will bring numerous core Android Oreo features and compatibility to Jio VoLTE,” said HTC in a release.

HTC 10 sports 12MP rear camera Laser Autofocus BSI sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) having aperture ƒ/1.8, dual tone LED flash while the front camera is of 5MP autofocus BSI sensor with live make-up, auto and voice selfie features.

It has a 5.2 inch quad HD display (2560 x 1440 pixels) with pixel density at 564 ppi (pixel per inch), Corning Gorilla Glass protection supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, and quad-core chipset cloaked at 2.2GHz. It runs on a battery of 3,000mAh. The HTC 10 is being supported by 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM with expandable upto 2TB.
