HP unleashes Omen 15 2018 notebook with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070, Max-Q GPU

HP has again expanded its range of gaming notebooks with the launch of its new and hardware improved HP Omen 15 2018. The product will be available on its official website from July 29 onwards at a price tag of $979.99 (about Rs 66.100). The higher end variant of the model (GTX 1070 Max-Q GPU 4K screen furnished) will carry the price tag of $1,699 (about Rs 114,500).

The new HP Omen 15 2018 notebook will sport a 15.6-inch diagonal display along with 144Hz 1080p, 80Hz 4K, and 60Hz 1080p resolutions. It will feature 32GB DDR4-2666 RAM and will be backed by latest 8th generation Intel Core i5+ and Core i7+ chipsets coupled with VR enabled Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 and Max-Q GPU.

Compared to its predecessor, this new Omen laptop is 5 percent less thinner and 74 percent less wide. Another USP of this device is its sophisticated sound system that includes stereo speakers that are backed by Bang & Olufsen along and a discrete audio amplifier. Along with the support for DTS Headphone it is equipped with dynamic bearing fans to keep the device cool.
