Honor Play is now available for pre-orders in China with enhanced gaming experience

Honor has now launched its latest smartphone Honor Play in China that appears in two variant; a 6GB RAM and 4GB RAM. The high-end 6GB RAM variant appears at a price of CNY 2,399 (roughly Rs. 25,100), while the low-end variant carries a price tag of CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 21,000).

The handset will come in three colour options; violet, blue and black and is already available for pre-order in China. Consumers can grab the device from June 11 onwards. The handset is backed by an octa-core Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset coupled with Mali-G72 GPU and the built in NPU (neural processor unit). It has a 64GB inbuilt storage that can escalated upto 256GB through external microSD card. The USP of the handset is that it has ‘4D’ gaming experience with real-time recognition, while the GPU Turbo Technology will enhance and perk up the gaming experience.

It features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. Both the 6GB and 4GB RAM variant and will operate on EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1. For photography, the phone is furnished with dual rear cameras backed by AI. The front camera is equipped with a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture, while the rear camera is furnished with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF, and a 2-megapixel secondary lens with f/2.4 aperture.

The additional connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C. Along with fast charging support, the phone is powered by a 3750mAh battery.
