HMD is speculated to launch Nokia A1 Plus at IFA 2018 with in-display fingerprint sensor

At the upcoming IFA industrial exhibitions in Germany, Nokia is now speculated to launch yet another flagship smartphone, dubbed as Nokia A1 Plus. As of now, Nokia 8 Sirocco is the most expensive device of HMD Global.

According to some leaked report from online news portal WinFuture, the expected Nokia A1 Plus would be fueled by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and might flaunt a LG manufactured OLED panel. The speculated uniqueness of the device would be the trending n-display fingerprint sensor (same as Vivo X21) and it would operate on the latest Android P out-of-the-box, suggested by popular tipster Roland Quandt.

Rumours also surfaced that the phone would be launched in the mid of August-September, the time during IFA 2018, while HMD Global is said to have working with Foxconn Technology, the Taiwan-based global electronics contract manufacturing firm.

The rumours of Nokia A1 Plus are also confusing because, previously it was leaked that HMD would launch the successor to Nokia 8 that is Nokia 9, which was also speculated to be furnished with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Nokia 9 was speculated to feature an 8GB RAM and a 6.01-inch display equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The USP was its triple-camera; 41-megapixel, 20-megapixel, and 9.7-megapixel sensors.
