Coolpad, in collaboration with LeEco has launched another smartphone, dubbed the Cool 2 in China. To recall, the Coolpad Cool 2 is the successor to the Cool 1 Dual- the first smartphone under Coolpad and LeEco collaboration.
The main highlight of the Cool 2 is the vertically-aligned dual-camera setup at the back, rated at 13-megapixel and 0.3-megapixel, while the front-facing one stands at 8-megapixel.
Another highlight is the incorporation of the Face Unlock feature. Additionally, the Coolpad Cool 2 has another attraction in the form of a 5.7-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio rated at 18:9, for thin bezels.
In terms of the other specs, the Coolpad Cool 2 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor, clocked up to 1.5GHz. The smartphone comes equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded with the use of a memory card.
The Coolpad Cool 2 is backed by a 3,200mAh battery and runs Android 7.0 Nougat with Custom UI on top. The smartphone houses dual SIM card slots, comes with IPX4 rating for water resistance, and sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
However, there is no word on the pricing and availability details of the Coolpad Cool 2 yet.
