BSNL will provide an after FUP speed of 40kbps and it will also proffer the same after FUP speed with all of its postpaid data add-on tariffs
The state owned telecom operator, BSNL has now proclaimed to unleash unlimited data on its data add-on schemes and postpaid from July 1 onwards. Keeping aside the plans for prepaid customers, BSNL is solely focused on postpaid schemes with its new data tariffs.
With a strong focus on postpaid segment, BSNL is now expected to throw tough competitions to the plans of its rivals such as Airtel and Reliance Jio. There will be no alterations to the postpaid plans, but BSNL will provide an after FUP speed of 40kbps. Most importantly, it will also proffer the same after FUP speed with all of its postpaid data add-on tariffs.
In an official statement, a BSNL spokesperson said, “The Data with all postpaid mobile plans to be converted to unlimited with speed reduced to 40 Kbps after present free data limit.”
On its plan of Rs 399, the operator offers 30GB data every month and after its completion, users will not be charged further, but the speed will be decreased to 40kbps. If users require high speed unlimited data without any FUP, then they will have to grab Rs 1,525 plan, whereas the add-on tariffs starts from Rs 5 and goes up Rs 1,711. Its postpaid plan starts from Rs 99 and goes up till Rs 1,525.
