To counter Vodafone, Reliance Jio, and Idea Cellular, Airtel has now launched its new Rs 449 data pack, which will offer 2GB 4G data per day for a period of 70 days. The 2GB 4G data is also available on Airtel at a price of Rs 249, but in this pack the validity is for 28 days.
Along with the high speed data, the new plan also offers 100 SMSs per day coupled with unlimited calling facilities. It would compete with its newly launched Rs 448 and Rs 499 plans. The former offers 1.4GB data per day for a validity of 82 days, while the later provides 2GB data every day with same validity. Both the plan offers 100 SMS every day and unlimited calling, local as well as STD.
For the past one year, Airtel has been launching lots of data packs for its prepaid customers in order to throw a tough competition to its rivals, especially Reliance Jio. The biggest competitor Jio at this moment is offering three 2GB 4G prepaid plans that comprises of Rs 249, Rs 449 and Rs 499. It offers four prepaid plans in the 1.4GB group; Rs 199, Rs 399, Rs 448 and Rs 509.
