To combat Reliance Jio and BSNL, telecom operator Airtel has announced a new plan worth Rs 499 for its prepaid users in India.
The new Rs 499 prepaid plan provides users with free local and STD calls, 2GB of 4G internet data per day, free roaming and free 100 SMS per day, with a validity of 82 days.
Additionally, Airtel has various other prepaid plans which might interest users:
Talking about the Reliance Jio Rs 259 IPL pack, the prepaid plan provides Jio users with 2GB of 4G data per day, totally up to 104GB of data for a validity of 51 days. On recharge, the users can get fee access the live match streaming, cricket related content via MyJio app and chances to win prizes, apart from the regular usage.
The BSNL Rs 248 plan, on the other hand, provides 3GB of data per day, amounting to 153GB of internet data for 51 days. However, the plan is available for limited period (till April 30).
Furthermore, fueling the IPL fever, Airtel now claims to provide free streaming of this year’s IPL season, provided users have a 4G Airtel SIM and the AirtelTV app.
