2018 Apple iPhone models leaked again, could come with 4GB RAM


Half of 2018 is gone and our expectations have been staked high for the 2018 Apple iPhone lineup. Rumours and leaks are in full swing and the recent one hints at some new features this year’s iteration could have.

According to Geekbench, out of the three smartphones which Apple is expected to launch this year, at least one device will be equipped with 4GB of RAM which is more than the RAM offered in the previous Apple devices. Additionally, the benchmark hints at the A12 chipset and the latest iOS 12 for the smartphones.

While not much is known about the 2018 iPhone models, it is suggested that three smartphones will be named- the iPhone 9, the iPhone X (2018) and the iPhone X Plus.

According to a recently leaked hands-on video, the alleged iPhone 9 is likely to sport a 6.1-inch LCD display and will serve as the cheapest among the three. The iPhone X (2018) and the iPhone X Plus will feature a 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch displays, respectively both based on OLED display panel.

All the three smartphones will be reminiscent of the 2017 iPhone X with the notch for really thin bezels. Furthermore, the iPhone 9 could sport a single-camera module at the back, the iPhone X (2018) might feature a dual-camera module, and the high-end iPhone X Plus is expected to come with triple-camera setup.
