Highlights

  • iQOO Z11 is tipped to debut in India in August.
  • The India version of the model is expected to feature MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset and a 3D curved display.
  • China Variant was launched with 6.83″ AMOLED 165Hz display, Dimensity 8500 chip, 50MP OIS camera, 9,020mAh battery and 90W charging.

iQOO appears to be preparing to expand its Z11 series in India with the launch of the iQOO Z11. The smartphone is expected to become the third model in the lineup after the recently launched iQOO Z11 Lite and the iQOO Z11x 5G.

According to a Gadgets360 exclusive report citing credible sources, the standard iQOO Z11 is set to debut in India soon. Interestingly, the Indian version is expected to arrive with a different processor than the model launched in China earlier this year. Here’s more on what we know.

iQOO Z11 India Launch Expected in August

Gadgets360 claims that sources familiar with the development have revealed that the iQOO Z11 is likely to launch in India in August. The report also claims that the handset will be the first smartphone in India to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset.

This marks a notable difference from the Chinese version, which is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor. The Indian variant is also tipped to feature a 3D curved display.

Since the expected launch is only a few weeks away, iQOO is likely to begin teasing more details soon.

The iQOO Z11 was introduced in China on March 26 this year. For reference, the Chinese version of the iQOO Z11 features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1260 x 2800 pixel resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The display also supports HDR and covers 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut. The smartphone is powered by the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset and is available with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

In terms of cameras, the iQOO Z11 comes with a dual rear camera setup including a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it features a 16-megapixel front camera. The handset is backed by a 9,020mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging.

It was launched at a starting price of CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 31,200) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB variants were launched at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 34,000), CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 38,100), CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 40,800), and CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs. 46,300), respectively.

As of now, the specifications of the Indian variant are yet to be officially confirmed. But we can expect more details to be revealed as the August launch approaches.
