Xiaomi updated Redmi Note 3 with MIUI 9

Xioami has finally updated  Redmi Note 3 with MIUI 9 global stable ROM, while previously, the company has introduced MIUI 9 on Redmi Note 4, Mi Max 2, Redmi 4A, Redmi 4.

Rohit Ghalsasi, Xiaomi’s Product Manager has confirmed the news on his official Twitter account. The Tweet says, “Redmi Note 3 users will start receiving MIUI 9 stable update starting from today but not everyone will get the update same time. It may take 48-72 hrs for you to get the update.”

The phone was launched way back in 2015, which is furnished with 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 hexa core chipset. In the photography segment, the Redmi Note 3 sports a 5MP selfie sensor and a 16MP primary camera. The primary camera further features 5 element lens, f/2.0 aperture, 78-degree wide angle lens, two-tone flashlight, panorama, HDR, and manual mode options. Moreover, the selfie camera also has f/2.0 aperture, face recognition and Beautifies modes.

The additional connectivity options include 4G connectivity, Bluetooth 4.1, dual-band WiFi, WiFi Direct, and GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS and Beidou. The IR blaster in the phone helps user to use it like a remote controller. The smartphone also features an electronic compass, gyroscope, gravity sensor, proximity, hall, and light sensors. The phone appears in two variant; the 3GB RAM model has an in-built 32GB ROM, while the 2GB RAM variant has 16GB ROM.
