Xiaomi is all geared up to unveil the third installment in its Mi Mix series, dubbed the Mi Mix 2s for which the rumour mill is in overdrive. Adding to this is an official teaser on Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo, hinting at the design of the smartphone.
The post suggests that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s will get unveiled in Shanghai, China at an event scheduled for March 27. While the image posted doesn’t reveal much about the smartphone, the device is expected to come with really thin bezels. Additionally, the front camera and other sensors are expected to be present at the bottom bezel, much like the predecessor.Furthermore, previous rumours tip at an aspect ratio rated at 18:9 and full HD+ nature of the display with a screen resolution rated at 2,160 x 1,080 pixels.
On the camera front, the device could house dual cameras at the back, featuring 4-axis OIS, Sony IMX 363 sensor and LED flash. The Mi Mix 2s is expected to be backed by a 3,400mAh battery and run the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.
Additionally, the smartphone is likely to come with a screen-to-body ratio rated at 95 per cent, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage.
