Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s confirmed to launch on March 27

After several rumours and leaks, Xiaomi has finally confirmed that it will announce the successor to the Mi Mix 2- the Mi Mix 2s at an event scheduled for March 27.

The news got confirmed via a post on Twitter by Xiaomi Global spokesperson Donovan Sung. While the tweet doesn’t reveal much about the to-be-announced smartphone, it confirms the presence of Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 processor in the smartphone along with the 2,73,741 AnTuTu benchmark sore achieved by the smartphone.

While there is nothing concrete available about the smartphone, past rumours suggest that the Mi Mix 2s could comes with a bezel-less display with an aspect ratio rated at 18:9 being full HD+ on nature with a screen resolution rated at 2,160 x 1,080 pixels.

On the camera front, the device could house dual cameras at the back, featuring 4-axis OIS, Sony IMX 363 sensor and LED flash. The Mi Mix 2s is expected to be backed by a 3,400mAh battery and run the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Additionally, the smartphone is likely to come with a screen-to-body ratio rated at 95 per cent, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage.
