It seems like the high-end Mi Mix 2s and the Mi 7 are not the only offerings by Xiaomi. The Chinese company is now expected to bring the third installment of its Mi Max series, dubbed the Mi Max 3 to life, for which rumours have begun piling up. The latest one hints at some features the alleged smartphone could sport.
According to a new report, the purported Mi Max 3 is likely to come with support for Qi wireless charging tech (given that Xiaomi joined the Wireless Power Consortium), and could come with iris recognition using PureCel technology.
While details regarding the Mi Max 3 are still scarce, the report further suggests that the smartphone could feature a bezel-less display with an aspect ratio rated at 18:9. The screen size is expected to be rated at 7-inch. The smartphone could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and is likely to have a Snapdragon 630 processor variant too.Focusing on the main USP of the smartphone- the massive battery capacity, the company is expected to launch the Mi Max 3 with a bigger 5,500mAh battery as compared to its predecessors. Additionally, the smartphone is likely to run Android 8.1 Oreo and support dual-SIM card slots.
In terms of the camera, the Mi Max 3 is speculated to house dual cameras at the back with an image sensor from either Sony or Samsung and a front-facing snapper.
