Vodafone launches new Rs 158 plan in Kerala with unlimited STD and local calls

India’s second largest subscriber-based telecom operator Vodafone has now launched its new plan for the prepaid customers at just Rs 158. Currently, this plan is only limited to Vodafone subscribers in Kerala, which is speculated to be rolled out in other states soon.

The plan is speculated to throw a tough rivalry to Jio, Airtel, and Idea, as it is loaded lots of new interesting features. The new plan will offer unlimited local and STD voice calls along with free national roaming calls, states TelecomTalk.

However, users must note that it will provide a daily limit of 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week. For a period of 28 days, customers will get 4G 1GB data per day, a total of 28GB data per month. Most importantly, this scheme will not offer any free SMSs like other operators.

In some selected areas in Kerala, Vodafone introduced this plan with same offers at Rs 151. Both the plans are now available only in Kerala circles.
