Snapchat now has GIF stickers, soon to get Tabs feature

Snapchat, Holi

Photo-sharing app Snapchat is now home to yet another feature which allows users to add GIFs to his or her story.

The new GIF integration to the shared photo or video is easy, the users are required to capture an image or a video, tap the Sticker icon present on the top-right corner, and select from a huge list of GIFs from GIPHY, directly into the app and add to the media. Additionally, the selected GIFs can be edited the way regular stickers are edited.

To recall, another popular photo-sharing app Instagram, recently added the GIF support for its Stories section. Users, via the same GIPHY help can add GIFs to his or her Instagram Stories.

Furthermore, following all the nitpicking since its overhaul, Snapchat is soon expected to introduce the new Tabs feature which will allow users to pick and organize Snapchat Stories he or she wishes to view. The new feature will be introduced on the Friends and Discover pages.

Additionally, Snapchat is expected to add various tweaks, starting with its iOS version and eventually reaching out to the Android users.
