Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ to arrive in India on March 6

Just a few days after the official launch of Samsung’s 2018 flagship duo- the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+, the pair’s entry into the Indian market is now expected on March 6.

The South Korean company Samsung has started sending out media invites for the Galaxy S9 duo’s Indian launch. Additionally, both the smartphones are up for pre-orders in the country.

For those who have forgotten, the main highlight of the smartphones is the improved camera department with dual aperture for both the smartphones. The Galaxy S9 comes with a single 12-megapixel primary snapper and an 8-megapixel front camera, while the Galaxy S9+ houses dual rear cameras rated at 12-megapixel and the same front snapper as the S9.

The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ come with Infinity Quad HD+ Curved Super AMOLED displays, rated at 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch, respectively with an aspect ratio rated at 18:5:9. The smartphones are powered by Exynos 9810 processors. While the Galaxy S9 comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, the Galaxy S9+ has an increased 6GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. The Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ are backed by 3,000mAh and 3,500mAh batteries with fast charging, respectively.

Furthermore, the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ come with improved Bixby, stereo speakers by ALG, IP68 certification, SmartThings app, AR Emoji, fingerprint scanner at the back, iris scanner and facial recognition.
