Samsung has announced a change in the way its emoticons will be with the introduction of Samsung Experience 9.0 as part of the new Android 8.0 Oreo update for its smartphones.
Samsung Experience 9.0 now has emojis with improvements and in sync with the ones offered by its competitors.
For example, the face screaming in fear and the dancing girl emoticons are now more intuitive. The kissing faces have also underwent changes, the grinning cat has a new colour, pile of poop is now happy, devil is more angry, alien has tentacles, man dancing is retro, nail polish has a new direction, ghost is naughtier and happier, and the mistaken identity cases now rests with the choco chip cookie no more a salted cracker.
The facial expression emoticons have received tweaks and design modifications. Additionally, Samsung Experience 9.0 has around 239 new emojis (such as Star-Struck, Exploding Head and Face With Symbols on Mouth and many more), making expression fun.
Samsung is rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo with the new Samsung Experience 9.0 for the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ users, and will eventually reach out to more Samsung smartphones.
