Panasonic has unveiled a new budget smartphone, going by the name Panasonic P100 in India. The main highlight of the smartphone is the incorporation of a fingerprint sensor at the back.
In terms of the hardware specs, the Panasonic P100 comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display covered with a layer of 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla glass for protection. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor ticking at 1.25GHz, and comes in two RAM options; 1GB and 2GB. The device is equipped with 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
In the camera department, there is an 8-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash and 5P lens, while the front-facing camera is rated at 5-megapixel. The smartphone comes with various camera features such as Panorama, Face Beauty and HDR.
The dual-SIM Panasonic P100 gets its power from a 2,200mAh battery and runs Android 7.0 Nougat. It is topped with several connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, OTG support, USB, and GPS. The P100 comes in Gold and Blue colour options.
The Panasonic P100 is now up for grabs via Flipkart for Rs 5,299 (1GB RAM variant) and Rs 5,999 (2GB RAM variant).
