OPPO is rumoured to unveil new smartphones in its R series, allegedly called the R15 and the R15 Plus (with the company dropping the previous R13 and R13 Plus epithet due to bad omen), for which the rumours are flying in. The recent one is in the form of leaked images of the OPPO R15 hinting at what the device might look like.
According to a post on Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo, the OPPO R15 is likely share resemblance with the current iPhone X flagship. The purported smartphone could come with the top notch inspired by iPhone X with really thin bezels.
At the back, the smartphone is likely to sport horizontally-placed dual cameras with LED flash at the top right left corner, followed by a fingerprint scanner and company’s logo beneath the camera module, in the middle. Additionally, the OPPO R15 could come in black, purple and pink colour variants.
While not much is known about the OPPO R15 and the R15 Plus, the smartphones are likely to be the successors to the OPPO R11 and the R11 Plus and could be first to be powered by Qualcomm’s announced Snapdragon 670 processor. Both the smartphones are expected to come with bezel-less displays with an aspect ratio rated at 18:9.
