OnePlus has launched its new flagship for the year, the successor of OnePlus 6, in the form of OnePlus 6T in New Delhi starting at Rs 37,999 for the 6GB 128GB variant. The smartphone has already being launched in the US market starting at around $549.
In terms of design, OnePlus 6T has moved to ‘Teardrop’ design display which the others call Waterdrop having 6.41 inches of OLED screen. The smartphone retains all glass design to look premium and has done away with 3.5mm audio jack with OnePlus 6T.
The major improvement in OnePlus 6T is the addition of in-display fingerprint sensor for the first time while the optics remain the same as OnePlus 6 having 16MP+20MP rear camera setup and 16MP selfie lens.
The OnePlus 6T has been launched in 6GB RAM and 128 GB ROM variant to begin with. It also comes in 8GB 128GB and 8GB 256 GB variants as well. The smartphone runs on Android Pie 9.0 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset.
The Chinese brand of the BBK-clan has improved the battery capacity to 3,700mAh in OnePlus 6T accompanied by the Fast Charge.
The OnePlus 6T will be available from November 1, 2018 at Amazon.in, OnePlus.in and at Reliance Digital too.
