Indian company Karbonn has unveiled a new budget smartphone, dubbed the A9 Indian in India, for an effective price of Rs 2,199.
The Karbonn A9 Indian comes with Idea’s cashback offer, which will provides users with a cashback of Rs 500 on recharges worth Rs 3,000 for 18 months and another cashback of Rs 1,000 on another round of recharges worth Rs 3,000 for another 18 months, totaling up to a cashback of Rs 1,500. Additionally, the users are required to make a down payment of Rs 3,699 during purchase.
Additionally, the smartphone, as the name suggests comes equipped with localized content and apps, meant specifically for the tier 2 and tier 3 customers. It comes with balance and usage analysis, AI based informational chat bot, App Bazar, and support for 22 regional languages.
In terms of the specs, the Karbonn A9 Indian comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The device comes equipped with 1GB of RAM and 89GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a memory card. On the camera front, there is a 5-megapixel primary shooter with LED flash, as well as front-facing snapper with the same configuration.
The 4G VoLTE-enabled Karbonn A9 Indian is backed by a 1,750mAh battery and runs Android 7.0 Nougat. Additionally, the Karbonn A9 Indian comes in Gold, Black Gold, White Gold colour options.
