Transsion Group-owned Infinix has brought back its flagship series after three years of launching the brand in India. The refreshing new Infinix Zero 8i is the biggest upgrade from its precursors in the Zero series and comes packed with an array of top-notch features, elegant design, an advanced chipset and Pro-level photography modes.

The all-new Infinix smartphone comes in Silver Diamond and Black Diamond colour variants, and will be available at a limited period introductory price of just Rs 14,999 on Flipkart from December 9. The device comes in a stylish diamond-cut gem texture design. In the rear shell, it comes with a unique lozenge-shaped camera module and contrast colour spraying process.

In terms of technical specs, the Infinix Zero 8i stands out for its 6.85-inch FHD+ dual pin hole with a 90.1% screen-to-body ratio and 480 nits brightness and 1500:1 contrast ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G90T 64 bit octa-core processor with 12nm FinFET. To ensure a smooth gaming experience through intelligent networking and resource management, the smartphone is backed by ARM Mali – G70 GPU, which is super clocked at 800GHz and MediaTek HyperEngine game technology. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The smartphone comes with a 90Hz refresh rate which makes super smooth interaction between the users’ fingers and the screen, whereas the 180Hz touch sampling rate allows faster screen response, especially for the pro gamers to perform better in gaming. The Zero 8i houses 3 card slots (dual nano SIM + micro SD) with expandable memory up to 256 GB and operates on Android 10 with the latest XOS 7 skin. The handset also features a multifunctional side-mounted fingerprint sensor to ensure enhanced security.

For photography purposes, the smartphone comes with a 48MP AI quad rear camera with an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens to capture perfect wide shots even at 119 degrees, a 2MP depth sensor and an AI lens. The advanced camera of Zero 8i also comes with multiple category-first modes like Slow Motion, Eye Tracking, Macro and Document.

For selfies and video chats, the Infinix Zero 8i offers a dual selfie camera setup. It comes with a 16MP primary sensor that has an f/2.0 lens, along with an 8-megapixel secondary sensor carrying an ultra-wide-angle lens.

The Infinix Zero 8i carries a heavy duty 4,500mAh battery backed by an ultra-Power Marathon technology that optimises the power used by the apps and thereby increases 25% battery backup. The smartphone comes with an 18W charger in the box with a 33W fast charge support that has the capability of charging the device from 0 to 70% within 30 mins.
