After several rumours and teasers, Infinix under Transsion Holdings has unveiled the Infinix Hot S3 at an event in India.
The main highlight of the smartphone is the camera department which features a 20-megapixel front-facing shooter featuring dual LED soft flash and 5P Lens. The front camera supports Bokeh effect. The primary snapper stands at 13-megapixel with PDAF.
Another highlight is the 5.65-inch HD+ Full View display with an aspect ratio rated at 18:9 and is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. The smartphone comes in two RAM/ROM variants- 3GB RAM/32GB ROM and 4GB RAM/64GB ROM, both the variants expandable up to 256GB with the use of a microSD card.
The Infinix Hot S3 gets its fuel from a huge 4,000mAh battery which is expected to last up to two days on a single charge and runs the company’s XOS 3 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The dual-SIM device is topped with connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, GLONASS, and micro USB. Additionally, the Infinix Hot S3 is accompanied by a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and comes in Sandstone black and Brush Gold colour variants.
The Infinix Hot S3 is priced at Rs 8,999 (3GB RAM/32GB ROM) and Rs 10,999 (4GB RAM/64GB ROM) and will be available as a Flipkart exclusive, starting February 12, 2018.
