Goldseat

Goldseat, a licensed on-the-go offline entertainment travel services provider, has collaborated with BNT Motors, the largest dealer for Volvo buses in the country, with a primary focus to provide offline entertainment to luxury bus travelers across India. Besides, Goldseat has introduced enhanced features for an overall service experience. With this tie up, Goldseat services will be available in the National Capital Region, Lucknow, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana.

Gaurav Kapahi, Co-Founder, Goldseat, said, “We are excited to partner with BNT Motors, a leader in Volvo bus servicing in India. I am sure that this partnership will definitely enhance the over-all travel experience for passengers. Currently, Goldseat is functional in more than 200 buses, which includes Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation and other private players across Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan. Basis the partnership, Goldseat will be able to expand its reach to around 500 buses within the next 12 months.”

“We are on our way to change travel experience by making the travel more entertaining and welcome BNT Motors on becoming part of this magical journey. The idea is to integrate our services at the root level when operators are buying new buses or getting the first service done. This partnership will ensure that the bus operators are provided with the best possible service by BNT and Goldseat becomes a part of their service bouquet,” said Nishchal Ketarpal, Co-Founder, GoldSeat.

With Goldseat offline entertainment, passengers get free access to on-board multi-network Wi-Fi to stay connected for most part of their journey. The remarkable connectivity offers live feed of the bus through installed cameras and sensors, to the bus operators. This ensures passenger safety and avoids incidents such as staff misbehavior and theft.

Goldseat mobile app connects to a hardware device installed in the bus which acts as a local server for streaming licensed content available for the travelers. The mobile app, which is just 3MB in size, can be downloaded from either Google Play or App Store when the traveler boards the bus.
