With this year’s Mobile World Congress nearing, rumours for Samsung’s forthcoming flagship duo are still making round. Now, prior to the official launch, the smartphones are being teased on the online portal, to be made available at.
The teaser on the online portal Flipkart suggests that the to-be-announced Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ will be made available soon in India, following the official launch scheduled for February 25. The tagline ‘The Camera. Reimagined’, hints at the enhanced camera capabilities the smartphones have been rumoured to carry for a while.
Additionally, Samsung’s official website has started teasing the smartphones and enables users to register his or interests and get updates by filling up a form.
Past rumours tip at a single-camera at the back for the Galaxy S9 and a dual-camera setup for Galaxy S9+. The smartphones are expected to come with variable aperture, slow motion and anti-shake OIS. The fingerprint scanner for both the smartphones is expected to rest beneath the camera module at the back.
Furthermore, the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ are likely to come with Infinity displays, rated at 5.77-inch and 6.2-inch, respectively, and come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 mobile platform coupled with several RAM/ROM configurations, expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.
