Magic Call goes viral, hits over 3 million downloads in India

Magic Call app

Fun app Magic Call, which was launched recently by value-added service provider BlackNGreen, has gone viral with over 3 million downloads with 4-star rating on Google Play Store.

According to the company, the main reason for this virality has been the in-app sharing features through which most of the downloads happen. YouTube is another source of virality and a quick look at it would show hundreds of independent video reviews by bloggers, which have thousands of views, the company claimed.

Magic Call is a voice app that works on a real-time basis and allows the users to change their voice during calls. It also offers various types of voice effects such as romantic ambiance, the James Bond theme in the background adding a little drama to every fun call the user makes. As an entertainment platform, it offers free credits to the user on first-time registration.

“The stats are pretty impressive so far. With over 3 million downloads in six months, Magic Call has handled more than 20 million calls till date. It’s a highly profitable app unlike most other apps that have to be funded for years before positive ROI,” BlackNGreen boasts of.

BlackNGreen has launched Magic Call in Australia, UK and the US and plans to open this up in over 50 other countries before the end of this year. It is also eying to enter the China market soon and target its 600 million plus smartphone users.

Rahul Gupta, Co-founder, BlackNGreen, said, “It’s an achievement for us that Indian users are showering love on our products and services. I congratulate the team BlackNGreen for delivering astounding fun and entertainment experience to our users. Meanwhile, we’re working on voice changing technology advancement and collecting data to upgrade our Magic Call app.”
