BlackBerry Ghost with bezel-less display said to arrive in India soon

TCL-owned BlackBerry is expected to soon bring a new smartphone in the premium category to India, for which the rumours and leaks have started building up.

According to a post on Twitter by popular tipster Evan Blass, BlackBerry’s upcoming smartphone for India, allegedly called the BlackBerry Ghost (which could be a codename) is soon to make its entry. If the image shared is to go by, the smartphone is likely to come with a bezel-less display with rounded corners.

Additionally, the purported smartphone will be licensed by Optiemus, the company, which is among the three licensees for the BlackBerry smartphones, specifically for India.

While not much is known about the BlackBerry Ghost, the smartphone is likely to sport an aspect ratio rated at 18:9 and is expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo. Furthermore, the smartphone could be exclusive to the Indian market and might not get launched in any other market.

Just to clear the mist, the aforementioned information is just a rumour with nothing concrete backing it. To know what BlackBerry’s forthcoming baby is likely to be, we need to wait until the smartphone gets launched. Therefore, stay tuned to My Mobile for further updates.
