Google Pixel 3 has a 5.5-inch FHD+ (2160×1080 pixels) flexible OLED screen with 18:9 aspect ratio, runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The Pixel 3 comes with 4GB RAM like its predecessor comes in either 64GB or 128GB capacities without a support for microSD card. To run such a huge smartphone Vivo incorporated Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 in it having 8GB of RAM. The Vivo NEX runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) and the internal storage capacity stands at 128GB. The smartphone has the 4,000mAh battery which truly deserves it to run this giant. The camera capabilities of Vivo NEX are in sync with the size of the phone. See the phone you will fall in love with it due to its mesmerizing design and boldness. The smartphone looks fragile but, it’s not that really. There could only be few who do not appreciate the beauty Oppo Find X is. It has 6.42 inches of AMOLED screen with almost no borders (bezels) at all. Likewise, Oppo Find X runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset too with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage option to begin with. A 3,730mAh battery is enough for it to make it go a day without any hesitation as such. The Find X sports a motorized pop-up lens of 25MP Selfie lens which hardly misses on anything. The rear of the Find X holds dual lenses of 16MP and 20MP. They too become evident when the slider moves towards top. Oppo Find X is a beauty but comes at a cost too, around Rs 59,900. It has 6.3 inches Super AMOLED display having resolution of 1080×2220 pixels. The Galaxy S9 is the first smartphone from Samsung to feature quad cameras at the back. Yes you read it right! To talk about S9 has 24MP, 10MP, 8MP and 5MP lenses at the back. God forbids you could not miss anything. Oh wait! There’s front camera as well. It is of 24MP resolution. The phone starts with 6GB RAM variant with 128GB ROM. The Galaxy A9 runs on Android 8.0 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. It’s being supported by a 3,800mAh battery. What else do you want? Four cameras at the back plus one at the front which makes a five camera phone in this entire world. Though the price of the phone is yet not revealed in India till the filing of this story. We can assume it to cost you around Rs 50K till then you have to wait.

Continuing its effort, Motorola brought Motorola One Power recently. It is a powerhouse thanks to its 5,000mAh battery. You can go wherever you want without worrying about the drainage. There are just a few smartphones that are offering such huge battery life. In terms of other specifications, the Motorola One Power boasts on 6.2 inch screen with 1080×2246 resolution. The smartphone runs on Android Oreo 8.1 with Snapdragon 636. Being an Android One device makes it quite efficient and smooth which also offers upgrades too. The RAM options starts with 3GB and 32 GB internal space. Motorola has tried to give good camera under the hood with One Power. The phone has dual rear cameras of 16MP plus 5MP and the Selfie lens is of 12MP. The Motorola One Power starts at Rs 15,999 to compete with Xiaomi A2 in the market. It surely has the Power of a 5,000mAh cell and the union of Android One.

Nokia has launched 6.1 Plus two months ago in the mid-segment while announcing the Nokia 5.1 Plus. We have had used the Nokia 7.1 Plus and was quite impressed by its performance. Similarly, Nokia 6.1 Plus too fits the bill of giving an all-round experience with 5.8 inch display. It operates on Android 8.1 Oreo with Snapdragon 636 chipset. The Nokia 6.1 Plus is available in 4GB and 6GB RAM options while the ROM begins at 32GB. It also has the dual rear lens of 16MP plus 5MP along with 16MP Selfie lens. The battery stands at 3,060mAh for the usage. Not only Nokia 6.1 Plus, the company has other models too such as Nokia 3.1 Plus if you do not wish to spend too much on the phone. Meanwhile, the Nokia 6.1 Plus is available at Rs 15,999.

The Japanese Electronics giant has entered into flagship smartphone segment with the launch of two new smartphones; Eluga X1 and Eluga X1 Pro. Not only flagship but the company has tried its hands in notch too. Both the smartphones feature notched display to get some good traction among the buyers around Diwali as the company seems quite geared up for the challenges it have. Panasonic has always been a trusted name in India because of its quality products. Eluga X1 Pro has some good qualities too to get your attention. It features 6.18 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 2246 pixels. The smartphone runs on Android Oreo 8.1 with MediaTek 6771 P60 Helio chipset with 4GB RAM to begin with. It has the internal storage capacity of 64GB which can be extended upto 256GB. The camera set up is like many others in the fray. The Eluga X1 Pro sports dual rear lens of 16MP+5MP and the Selfie lens of 16MP power and is backed by a 3,000mAh cell. The Eluga X1 Pro comes with Wireless charging as well which is quite uncommon at this price point and guess what it comes with the charging support within the box. You do not need to buy it additionally like many others at the premium level. Apart from these two Panasonic did launch few more smartphones such as Eluga Ray 530 and Eluga Ray 600. Eluga X1 Pro sells at Rs 26,990.

Honor, the online brand of Huawei, in on a constant rise with its wide portfolio of smartphones and the kind of attention its getting among the buyers. In the last two years Honor has seen some tremendous rise in the Indian smartphone market. It gives the essence of Huawei at much lesser cost. Recently, Honor launched its new smartphone called the Honor 8X in the mid-segment. Honor 8X 6.5 inches screen with 1080×2340 pixels of resolution. The smartphone has Android 8.1 (Oreo) and Hisilicon Kirin 710 with 4GB RAM plus 64GB of ROM. The Honor 8X sports dual rear lens of 20MP+2MP while the front being a 16MP shooter. The newly launched smartphone has a battery capacity of 3,750mAh. Honor has been quite aggressive in the Indian market and 8X proves this too. The company must be expecting it to perform as they have expected. The pricing of Honor 8X is competitive as well which stands at Rs 14,999.

Asus ZenFone 5Z

Asus betted on this smartphone by bringing it at the threshold of premium segment which is largely being dominated by OnePlus till 40K. In order to get the traction Asus made it a complete package accompanied by the accessories for free. The Asus ZenFone 5Z sports a 6.2 inches display with 1080 x 2246 pixels of resolution. It runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) having Snapdragon 845 processor in it. ZenFone 5Z followed the same route of having dual rear lens in which one is of 12MP and the other is an 8MP shooter. The Selfie Camera is of 8MP along with 3,300mAh battery. Asus tried its best to compete with OnePlus in this segment with ZenFone 5Z. The smartphone is available at around Rs 29,900 at the moment. And if you do not want to spend too much then Asus has just launched its two new budget segment smartphones; ZenFone Max M1 at Rs 7,499 and ZenFone Lite 1 at Rs 5,999.
