Telegram now has Video Streaming and more

Messaging app Telegram has received yet another update, version 4.8 which has brought in various features for the Android users.

Firstly, Telegram now has the Video Streaming feature which allows users to watch shared videos even if the videos have not been fully downloaded. The uploading progress of the video can be viewed as a grey strip running below the video.

Another feature is the Auto-night mode which adjusts the light and turns to the dark version of the interface when the light is low or it’s dark. The Auto-night mode can be enabled by heading to the Settings option within the app, click the Theme option, and selecting the Auto-night mode option will end the process.

Additionally, among the various custom themes available on Telegram, users can choose which one to choose by selecting the Preferred Night Theme’ option.

Furthermore, a new widget, dubbed the ‘Logged in with Telegram’ has been introduced to the app in Privacy and Security settings which will list down all the websites the users log in via Telegram.

However, the aforementioned features are currently available for Android users and will soon reach out to the iOS users.

To recall, Telegram recently introduced the ability to create multiple accounts, new themes for iOS users, and the Quick Replies feature.
