Samsung announces new Galaxy Note 9, HomePod speaker, Galaxy Watch in New York

At an event in New York, the South Korean tech firm Samsung has unveiled its new range of products ahead of Apple official event. The unveiled Samsung products include the latest Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Home speaker.

The new Galaxy Watch is furnished with a long lasting battery backup, which would last “several days” on a single charge. Further additional details of this device are yet to be revealed by the firm. It will also support LTE to work standalone, while the additional benefits include health features, Bixby smart assistant, and a new “My Day” watch face.

Samsung has announced Galaxy Watch will carry the price tag of $350 (46mm) and $330 (42mm), respectively for the non-LTE versions, while the LTE versions is speculated to be launched later in 2018.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 would sport the latest Snapdragon 845 chipset and will be powered by 4,000 mAh battery, which is a 20% escalation compared to Note 8. The base variant of the device will appear in 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM, while the premium variant will include a massive 512GB of internal storage.

With a resolution of 2960 × 1440 pixels, the phone will sport a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, while the Cupertino tech giant Apple is also speculated to unleash a 6.5-inch X Plus, which is also expected to be furnished with new landscape features.

The phone will be available at a price tag of $999 for the 128GB variant and $1,249 for the 512GB version. The pre-orders will commence on August 10th at 12:01 a.m. EDT.
