Samsung has introduced its premium foldable smartphone, Samsung W27, in China. The new handset was unveiled at Samsung’s ‘Heart of the World’ event and features an 8-inch foldable inner display, a 6.5-inch cover screen and a premium two-tone design with gold accents. Available at a starting price of CNY 18,999 (approx Rs 2,72,000) in China, here’s everything you need to know about the new premium Samsung foldable.
Samsung W27 Price and Availability
The Samsung W27 is available in two memory and storage configurations in China. Both variants come with 16GB of RAM, while buyers can choose between 512GB and 1TB of internal storage.

The Samsung W27 will go on sale in China on November 13 through Samsung’s online store. The phone comes in two colour options named Jihu Blue and Jixia Hong in Chinese.

Samsung W27 Design and Display
The Samsung W27 features a premium two-tone design aimed at the luxury and business segments. Its rear panel is available in blue and red finishes complemented by gold-coloured accents on the frame, hinge assembly, rear camera housing and camera lens rings. The back panel also carries the ‘Heart to the World’ emblem.
For the display, the phone features an 8-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X foldable screen with a resolution of 2,504 x 2,256 pixels. The inner panel supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and displays up to 16 million colours.
On the outside, there is a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,520 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
Samsung W27 Processor and Camera
The premium foldable is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset with two performance cores clocked at up to 4.74GHz and six efficiency cores running at up to 3.6GHz. It is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The Samsung W27 features a triple rear camera system, which includes a 200-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with an f/1.9 aperture and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
The telephoto camera supports up to 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom. For selfies and video calls, the phone has two 10-megapixel cameras with one placed on the inner display and the other on the cover screen.

Will Samsung W27 Launch in India?
Samsung W27 has been launched as a China-exclusive smartphone. As of now, Samsung has not shared any details about a possible launch in India or any other international markets.
