Huawei has launched the Huawei Pura 90 Plus in China, featuring a 6.8-inch 1.5K 120Hz LTPO Quad Curved OLED display and a 5700mAh battery. The new handset from Huawei integrates Kirin 9025 and comes pre-installed with HarmonyOS 7. The Huawei Pura 90 Plus also features a 1-inch type sensor that offers high-end imaging with an f/1.4-4.0 variable aperture.

Huawei Pura 90 Plus comes with a 6.8-inch 1.5K LTPO Quad-Curved OLED display with an adaptive 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate. It offers 1440Hz PWM dimming and a 300Hz touch sampling rate to lower visual fatigue. The display is also protected with second-generation Kunlun Glass for durability.
Kirin 9025 Chipset and HarmonyOS Version
The Pura 90 Plus integrates an in-house developed Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 9025 processor. It is also powered by the pre-installed HarmonyOS 7, offering system architecture updates, improved efficiency, and upgraded Celia AI assistant agentic skills.

The phone features a 50MP 1-inch-type primary camera sensor equipped with a variable physical aperture ranging from f/1.6 to f/4.0. The sensor captures maximum light data while maintaining precise control over depth of field.

Huawei Pura 90 Plus Camera Features
Huawei Pura 90 Plus camera software features smart enhancement tools powered by Huawei’s proprietary XMAGE image processing engine. The 1.5MP Red Maple sensor intelligently assesses spectrum data to balance natural skin tones, as well as lighting conditions, across a variety of environments. The Pura 90 Plus has a mechanical variable aperture, where the aperture blades are physically moved to achieve a light intake from f/1.6 to f/4.0
The camera system of Pura 90 Plus is designed in a way that it can manage dark scenes effectively. Its Super Night Scene mode uses multi-frame processing and AI noise reduction to brighten low-light scenes and preserve colour clarity without artificial over-sharpening.
