OnePlus is addressing a thermal throttling bottleneck head-on with its upcoming OnePlus Ace 7 Pro. In recent test data from industry insiders, OnePlus’s flagship achieved a native 185 FPS in intensive gaming tests, complemented by an active built-in fan system capable of cutting operational temperatures by up to 10°C.

In high-load real-world stress testing designed to mimic daily usage, tech tipsters Digital Chat Station and Ice Universe reported that the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro maintained elite frame rates across demanding titles.
The smartphone reportedly delivered a near-flawless 184.9 FPS in Delta Force, while averaging 164.9 FPS in Honor of Kings on the highest graphics settings without experiencing lag spikes. In controlled tests it showed more potential, getting 184.1 FPS in PUBG Mobile and an average of 180 FPS over a full one-hour session of Genshin Impact on high graphics settings.
How the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro Cooling Fan May Improve Performance
The core driver behind these sustained frame rates is the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro physical “dual-channel Ice River” air cooling system. According to leaked test results, running intensive games for an hour with the cooling fan disabled caused internal temperatures to reach 46.6°C.
Engaging the active fan system dropped operating temperatures to between 36.4°C and 37.6°C. This active thermal dissipation avoids chip thermal throttling, allowing the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 to run at high clock speeds without throttling under heavy workloads.

What makes the Ace 7 Pro’s gaming performance particularly competitive is how it stacks up against newer chip architectures. Where the 2nm rival flagship throttled down to nearly 165 FPS due to internal heat buildup, the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro sustained its higher 185 FPS output throughout the test.
