Xiaomi has expanded its wearable portfolio with the official release of the Redmi Band 4 in China. As the successor to the Redmi Band 3, the Redmi Band 4 is an accessible entry-level fitness tracker, offering 21 days of battery life. Xiaomi’s new Band 4 has a vertical strap design, featuring a 1.47-inch display with 2.5D curved glass with a 60Hz refresh rate, and carries a 5 ATM water rating.
Redmi Band 4 Price and Availability
The Redmi Band 4 has been launched in China at an initial price of CNY 169 (around $25). The new Xiaomi fitness tracker band has only been officially launched in China and is available for purchase through the Xiaomi Youpin Store.
Following its China debut, Xiaomi has not yet revealed the international release date and pricing for Redmi Band 4.

Redmi Band 4 has a 1.47-inch TFT LCD display covered with 2.5D curved glass. The band provides a resolution of 172×320 pixels, with a smooth 60Hz refresh rate, and up to 450 nits of peak brightness, which provide clear screen visibility under standard daylight.
50+ Sports Modes
Redmi Band 4 supports more than 50 distinct sports tracking modes. It also includes standard smartwatch features such as weather notifications, continuous heart rate tracking, music control capabilities, and access to over 100 customisable watch faces.
Redmi Band 4 5 ATM Rating
The Redmi Band 4 has a 5 ATM water-resistance rating, allowing it to withstand water pressure equivalent to a depth of 50 metres. This also protects the fitness band against heavy sweat, showering, rain, and shallow water activities such as pool swimming.
Does the Redmi Band 4 Support NFC?
There is one feature that its predecessor, the Redmi Band 3, supported is NFC for contactless payments and transit passes in China. But Xiaomi has removed the NFC chip from the Redmi Band 4 and instead relies on displaying QR codes on its screen.
Redmi Band 4 Shipping and Delivery
The Redmi Band 4 is currently available for domestic shipping only through official Xiaomi retail channels and authorised retailers. Buyers can avail free shipping benefits on orders over CNY 69.
Is the Redmi Band 4 Available in India?
The Redmi Band 4 has been launched in China. Xiaomi has not yet announced the Band 4 launch in international markets, including India.
