The Realme C01 has been listed on Vietnam-based online retailer The Gioi Di Dong ahead of its official announcement, revealing its price, design and key specifications. The smartphone with carrying the model number RMX5399 was previously spotted on certification platforms such as SIRIM in Malaysia and TDRA in the UAE. Although the retailer has marked the phone as “Coming Soon,” it is not yet available for purchase. Here is everything we know about its price, specifications and possible India launch.

Realme C01 Price and Availability

The Realme C01 is listed at 5,990,000 Vietnamese dong (approximately Rs 21,920) for the sole 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The listing on The Gioi Di Dong reveals three colour options, which are black, grey and orange.

However, the smartphone is currently marked as “Coming Soon” on the retailer’s website and customers cannot purchase it yet. Realme has not officially announced the phone or confirmed its launch date.

Will the Realme C01 Launch in India?

Realme has not confirmed whether the C01 will launch in India. However, an Indian launch cannot be ruled out, as the company has recently introduced a couple of C100-series smartphones in the country.

Interestingly, the RMX5399 model number associated with the Realme C01 is also linked to the Realme C100i, which has already launched in India. This raises the possibility that the C01 could be a rebadged version of the C100i.

However, Realme has not confirmed whether the two devices are the same smartphone or whether the C01 will be introduced in the Indian market.

Realme C01 Specifications

6.8-Inch HD+ LCD Display With 120Hz Refresh Rate

The Realme C01 features a 6.8-inch LCD with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and offers up to 900 nits of brightness. It also comes with Panda Glass protection.

The high refresh rate should provide smoother scrolling and animations compared with a standard 60Hz display. However, the panel’s HD+ resolution means it will not offer the same level of sharpness as higher-resolution displays.

Unisoc T7250 Processor With 4GB RAM

The smartphone is powered by the Unisoc T7250 octa-core processor paired with a Mali-G57 GPU. The processor includes two cores clocked at 1.8GHz and six cores running at 1.6GHz. The retailer listing reveals a configuration with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Users will also be able to expand the storage through a microSD card.

The Realme C01 is positioned as a budget smartphone and its processor and memory configuration are aimed at everyday tasks rather than demanding applications.

8MP Rear Camera and 5MP Front Camera

For photography, the Realme C01 features an 8-megapixel rear camera that supports video recording at up to 1080p resolution and 30 frames per second.

On the front, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The retail listing does not provide additional details about camera features or shooting modes.

6,500mAh Battery With 15W Charging

The Realme C01 packs a 6,500mAh Titan battery with support for 15W charging. The large battery capacity could help the phone deliver extended usage between charges, depending on the user’s usage patterns.

The listing does not reveal the expected charging time or battery endurance figures.

Android 16, Storage Expansion and Connectivity

The Realme C01 runs Android 16, although it is unclear whether the phone uses the latest ColorOS interface or the older Realme UI.

Connectivity options include 4G, dual Nano-SIM slots, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and GPS. The smartphone also features a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Other features include face unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

Realme C01 Design and Features

The listing on The Gioi Di Dong has revealed images of the Realme C01 alongside its specifications and pricing. The smartphone is shown in black, grey and orange colour options.

Realme C01 vs Realme C100i

The Realme C01 carries the model number RMX5399, which is also associated with the Realme C100i already available in India. This has led to speculation that the upcoming C-series smartphone could be a rebadged version of the C100i.

Could the Realme C01 Be a Rebranded Realme C100i?

The shared model number is an important clue but it does not conclusively confirm that the Realme C01 is a rebranded Realme C100i. Further comparisons of the official specifications, design and regional variants will be needed to establish the relationship between the two devices.

If the phones are indeed the same device sold under different names, the C01 could be intended for markets outside India. However, this remains speculation until Realme provides an official confirmation.
